I noticed myself having a judgmental thought about my wife.
She wasn’t even in the room.
But I was aware enough to immediately forgive myself for it.
Then I asked myself where the thought came from.
I saw the fear; I brought light to my shadow.
My judgement was lead and I’d mustered the courage to turn it to gold.
I went and found my wife.
I gave her the gift of my love, in a form opposite my judgement.
This is alchemy.
